Join us after worship December 4 at 11:30 am for the annual Advent Festival in the parlors! There will be crafts for the kids, tree decoration and an Advent quiz contest for the adults. Lunch will be provided, for which a donation will be solicited (suggested donation $5 per kids, $7 per adult with a maximum of $20 per family). Join us for this opportunity to kick off the Advent and Christmas seasons! Sponsored by the Christian Nurture Ministry.

Help feed the hungry!
Be a part of the United Church of Christ national campaign. You can make a real difference to the people in our community.
Each family unit is encouraged to bring 11 food items to church October 30 or November 6.
We will report the number of participants along with the number of items donated as a part of the national UCC Mission 1 campaign.

All items will be taken to Friends In Deed, our local food bank on November 11.
Friends In Deed Pantry’s Most Needed Items
Proteins: peanut butter, tuna, chicken, chili, beef stew, dry beans
Whole grains: pasta, oats, rice, cereal
Milk: shelf stable or powder
Other: jelly, tomato sauces, cooking oil, baking items
Please do not bring items in glass jars.
Halloween Party

Join us on Sunday October 30 after worship from 11:30am-1pm for a Halloween celebration. There will be crafts, games, and a costume parade! Children and adults alike are welcome to come in costumes to church that day. Feel free to invite outside guests. We will be serving a feast of pizza and other
assorted goodies, for which donations will be accepted. So we can get an accurate count of the food we need to order, please either RSVP to the evite invitation being sent out, or kindly advise Nina in the church office at 626-795-0696 or fccnina@yahoo.com with the names of those who are attending. Please join us for this opportunity to build relationships, socialize and have fun!

Membership Ministry invites all FCC Church Folks to a family-friendly barbecue. BBQ at the Leckrone’s Home. 5:30 —8:30 p.m. Saturday October 8th. Please bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share AND something to throw on the barby!! Drinks provided by Membership Ministry.
