As a congregation, we are involved in the life and activities of our community. There are many opportunities for service, ministry, and belonging.  Listed below are only a few of the available opportunities.

Worship Opportunities                                                       

We welcome you to worship with us at First Congregational Church!  We are a fun and friendly group.  Our facility is used by many worshipers.  Our own worship service is held in the Chapel at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday, and the Nursery is right down the hall.  Please follow the signage or ask someone to point you in the right direction.  We look forward to your visit!

Throughout the year, Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.  It is open to all believers, regardless of church affiliation.  At special times during the church year, such as Christmas and Holy Week, evening and holiday services are added to the regular worship schedule.  Child care is provided at all worship services.

Special worship events

Weddings, commitment ceremonies, funerals, and other special worship events are held at First Congregational Church subject to the availability of clergy and facilities.  E-mail or call our Building Manager, Sallie McNair, at (626) 795-3808 to request more information on using our beautiful sanctuary for your wedding or commitment ceremony.

Children and youth

Special programs for children and youth are offered during the Sunday morning worship service, using curriculum resources from the United Church of Christ.

Special education for the differently abled

We also offer a Christian Education class for the differently abled.  This class, which meets weekly after the fellowship time following the Sunday morning worship service, is taught by members of the church.
